Lady column: a kebab and four pack of Lynx please

What does one drink with spicy food? When I was a student at Leeds University, the answer would have been simple: a four pack of Lynx premium lager (£2.99 from Mistry’s Superette). I wouldn’t have dreamed of drinking wine with the products of the local takeaways. There was one place where the food arrived suspiciously quickly.
